Your privacy, in plain terms

Every model and project file you open is processed on your own device and is never uploaded anywhere. Saving a project writes a file straight to your device, the same as saving from any other program.

If the app closes unexpectedly, it can offer to restore your last session. Those recovery copies live in the browser's own storage, on your device only, and are never sent anywhere.

Usage analytics are optional and off until you turn them on, from the Settings menu in the app. Once allowed, we collect anonymous events about which tools are used and how long things take, error reports that never include your file contents or file names, and reports when the app's own security rules block something unexpected.

The start-up timing event also includes rough details of your device and connection: its approximate memory size, how many processor cores it has, the connection type your browser reports and whether data saver is on. We use these to find what slows the app down on modest devices and slow connections.

These go to PostHog, an analytics provider hosted in the EU. Your browser stores a random id so a return visit can be recognised, but there is no name, no email address and no account behind it. IP addresses are not stored.

If something goes wrong, you may see a "Send details" option. It copies technical details, such as the error message and a stack trace, to your clipboard and opens your email app with a message ready to send.

Nothing is sent unless you send that email yourself, and this works whether or not you have turned on usage analytics.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count how many people visit each page. It does this without cookies and without identifying anyone individually.

Paramability carries no ads. We don't share data with advertising networks, and we don't use third-party cookies to follow you across other websites.

The feature pages embed short overview videos hosted on YouTube. They use YouTube's privacy-enhanced player, which contacts YouTube only after you press play; from that point on YouTube's own privacy policy applies to the video.

Use the "Usage analytics" switch in the app's Settings menu to turn analytics on or off. Declining, or turning it off later, stops all reporting right away. Clearing this site's data in your browser forgets the choice, and the app will ask again.
